Patron-in-Chief Ejaz Rahim

Ejaz Rahim, a former Cabinet Secretary, he received his schooling from Burn Hall up to Senior Cambridge. Passed Intermediate from Forman Christian College, Lahore, and later graduated and obtained Masters in English Literature from Government College, Lahore in 1966. He also obtained a Masters in Development Studies from the Institute of Social Studies at the Hague in the Netherlands in 1980. He has attended diploma courses in Rural Development in the UN Asian Development Institute, Bangkok, and in Human Resources Development in the University of Pittsburgh. He was selected as Eisenhower fellow for 1989 from Pakistan. He is also completed Doctorate of Letters Honoris Causa by the Metropolitan University of Dublin.
He also remained as Member Planning Commission for Government Reform, Member National Disaster Management Oversight Council and Member Senate of National Defense University.
Additionally, he remained as member of the EMRO Advisory Committee, Global Stop-TB Coordination Board; and of International Health Institute Kobe (Japan). Ejaz Rahim joined the Civil Service of Pakistan in 1969 after topping the CSS Examination in that year. He has served on different posts in N.W.F.P and the Federal Government. He retired as Cabinet Secretary, Government of Pakistan. Since then he has been engaged in writing poetry and published 19 books so far.

During all these years he has been engaged in different projects funded by multilateral and bilateral donors, the most promising ones like ILO, UNDP, EU, and CIDA. While working at RSPN-Pakistan, he has close interaction with Government functionaries such as Ministry of Law, Justice& Human Rights, and Planning &Development. He holds ability an energetic, team-focused and result-oriented individual, innate skills and ameliorating the highest standards of organization particularly in the fields of legal aid, human resource management, training and development. His Core Competencies includes Devising legal reforms, Human Rights, Advocacy and Governance, Rule of Law, Designing Policy Manuals, Team supervision and monitoring, Management and Negotiation, Training Design & Delivery.

Director Operations Nazar Rauf Rathore

Having than 30 years experiences in government systems, particularly Public Financial Management (audit, accountancy, budget reporting, public procurement) Procurement and capacity building of Pakistani government institutions, he is presently appointed as the Director of Capacity Building/ Program, ASP-RSPN (USAID Grantee). He worked for 6 years as the Director of Capacity Building at Assessment and Strengthening Program for (ASP-RSPN) a USAID funded initiative where focus was on improving governance systems through development of policy and procedures, manuals, and trainings. He is an expert at establishing internal controls in 11 Deptts of GoKP, M&E systems and Strategic Planning within KP provincial government departments. He provided assistance to governments in establishing PPRAs and coordinated capacity building activities for improvements/curriculum revision in government training institutions. His other invaluable skills include assessment and Capacity building , inter alia, of PVTC, SMEDA AHAN. He has also arranged around 60 trainings of Govt and non government officers, having an experience of working with other International donors. He has spent a three years period in the Project for Improvement in Financial Reporting and Auditing (PIFRA World Bank) as Director Procurements and trainings. As Director Capacity building, he was assisted by two Advisors, two Managers, one Program Officer and a team of consultants besides Provincial Program Offices.

Mr. Muhammad Arif holds Masters degree in Political Science and a MBA degree from University of Management and Technology Lahore. Mr. Arif core competencies comprise of: Training of employees both at induction level and during employment. To assess training needs at various levels of employees. To assist the administration in deployment of employees keeping in view one of the principles of good governance. Dean of probationers of accounts group inducted through Central Superior Services (CSS) competitive examination. Iram has been working with CHRS as a Manager Programs since the past five years.She is an expert in formulating, organizing and monitoring inter-connected projects.She has excellent decision making on suitable strategies and objectives and coordinate cross-project activities.She leads and evaluate project managers and develops and control deadlines, budgets and activities.During the course of her job she has also worked with various donor agencies and has also planned and arranged several workshops and seminars.

Mr. Umar is a committed and dedicated professional with over 10 years of extensive experience in governance, grants management, public financial management and monitoring and evaluation. He has working experience with provincial and district governments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) under both LGO 2001 and KP LGA 2013, and knows the inside out of local governance system in KP. As a Fulbright Scholar he completed his Masters Degree in International Economics and Development and attended Harvard Summer School-2011 to pursue a special course on Economic Development in India and East Asia, which focused on economic policy reforms that enabled these countries to achieve highest growth rates during the past three decades. She has worked in different capacities to renowned organizations like NRSP, Pakistan Wildlife Foundation, Green Circle Organization, Ally Foundation and Organization for Integrated and sustainable development (OISD). She has also worked as a Counsellor in a resource centre established by the International Labour Organization.
