Shaher Bano :: Research Associate
Shaher Bano is an energetic self-starter with excellent analytical, organizational, and creative skills. She is reliable and dependable, with a special talent for community service. She is a strong team player who always completes tasks on time and to a high degree of quality. Her work experience demonstrates ability to juggle multiple tasks and work independently or with others. She is a graduate in Bio-Sciences from COMSATS University, Islamabad, her academic research was on current knowledge, attitude and practices of young mothers with regards to diarrhea in several cities of Pakistan.
She identifies herself as a advocate of gender equality. As a volunteer she worked with Elimination of Child Labour Project in Punjab with NRSP, SMART School Project with Institute of Rural Management, Community education on water management during the COVID19 with WWF. She also worked with Center for Disease Control (CDC) and National Institute of Health, Islamabad where she got opportunity to learn and contribute in various labs analysis such as Microbiological Analysis of Food and Water Samples and Report writing. She is fluent in both English and Urdu, she also has a strong passion for linguistics and holds a beginner level certification (A1.2) in French from Alliance Française d'Islamabad.
Currently she is working as a Research Associate at CHRS and assisting in various activities including material, development, business development, proposal writing, designing of community education and awareness programs, report writing, research, data analysis and other operational and management aspects.
