Pakistan has one of the youngest populations on earth. The constraint on that potential is rarely talent or ambition โ it is structured, hands-on execution. That is the gap CHRS exists to close, through its Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) and Technical, Vocational & Educational Training Solutions (TVETS).
YEP is a life-skills development program giving students, fresh graduates and young learners an opportunity to learn through internship work experience โ combining field education with conventional study. Participants gain first-hand knowledge of social-service systems in urban and rural settings, apply theory to real problems such as poverty, and learn to access community resources while developing professional oral, written and technological communication skills.
With the motto "get skilled to get employed," the CHRS TVET program follows the principle of freedom to learn โ what to learn, when to learn and how to learn is decided by the learner, with no restriction of time, age or pace. The goal is demand-driven, standardized and integrated technical education that builds a knowledgeable, flexible workforce โ with a deliberate focus on increasing female participation.
Through its youth-to-enterprise pipeline, CHRS mobilizes, trains and mentors young people to build scalable, technology-enabled enterprises โ spanning youth mobilization and outreach, digital skills and enterprise bootcamps, e-learning enablement, incubation and mentoring, and market linkages.
A two-day program building the capacity of 35 BS students in research and surveying techniques, data collection, analysis with SPSS & Excel, and report writing.
Preparing young leaders to train other young people and advocate for education, sustainability and human rights across Pakistan.
